Ask five Glasgow heating firms what a new boiler costs and you'll get five "it depends" and a request for a survey. It does depend on a few things — but not so many that we can't publish prices. So we have.
A new boiler installed by Titan Heat starts from £2,500, fully fitted by Gas Safe registered engineers, with your old boiler removed and the manufacturer's warranty registered for you. You can get your exact fixed price online in about two minutes without anyone visiting or phoning.
This guide explains what drives the price, what's included, and where the extra costs come from so nothing surprises you.
Our fixed-price packages
Every install is priced from one of three packages, sized to your home, starting from £2,500. All prices include the boiler, installation, removal and disposal of the old boiler, a system flush, a magnetic filter, and VAT.
- Essential** — Best for: Flats and smaller homes, 1 bathroom · What you get: A reliable, efficient combi from a leading brand with a solid manufacturer warranty. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
- Plus** — Best for: 3–4 bed homes, 1–2 bathrooms · What you get: A step up in boiler range, a longer manufacturer warranty and smart heating controls included.
- Premium** — Best for: Larger homes, 2+ bathrooms, high hot-water demand · What you get: Top-tier boiler with the longest available manufacturer warranty — up to 10 years — and premium controls.
Each package is available in 25kW, 30kW and 35kW outputs, and the price varies with the size, the boiler type (combi, system or heat-only) and the factors listed below — which is why we don't print one number for every combination here. Instead the online quote gives you your exact fixed price for all three packages in about two minutes, with no survey and no sales call.
Which size do I need? As a rough guide for a combi: 25kW suits flats and smaller houses with one bathroom; 30kW suits a typical three- or four-bed semi with one or two bathrooms; 35kW is for larger homes or high hot-water demand. The online quote asks a few questions about your home and picks the size for you.
What changes the price
The items below are the honest list of what can move a quote up from the package price. Our online quote asks about each so the price you see is the price you pay.
- Moving the boiler to a new location — £300–£800 (new gas run, flue, condensate and pipework)
- Converting from a system/heat-only boiler to a combi — £400–£1,000 (removing the cylinder and tanks, re-piping hot water)
- Vertical flue through the roof instead of horizontal through the wall — £200–£400 (flue kit, roof flashing, access)
- Plume management kit — £100–£200 (required when the flue terminal is close to a window, boundary or walkway)
- Upgrading the gas pipe (e.g. 15mm to 22mm) — £150–£400 (modern boilers need a higher gas flow than older pipework sometimes allows)
- Power flush of the radiators — £300–£500 (recommended if the system is sludged; protects the new heat exchanger)
- Additional smart controls or zoning — £150–£400 (hive, Nest, Tado, or a second heating zone)
- New radiators or TRVs — Priced per item (optional)
Anything not on this list that comes up on the day is our problem, not yours — that's what fixed price means.
What's included as standard
- Removal and responsible disposal of your old boiler

- Inhibitor to protect the system
- Commissioning, benchmark checklist and handover
- Gas Safe notification to your local authority (Building Standards) — you'll receive the certificate
- Manufacturer warranty registration, so you're covered from day one
- 12-month guarantee on our workmanship, parts and labour, on top of the manufacturer's boiler warranty of up to 10 years
How the deposit works
You can pay in full or pay a 30% deposit online to secure your installation date, with the balance due on completion. Your engineer takes the final payment by card or cash on the day, once you're happy, and you'll receive the invoice and warranty details by email. If extras are agreed on the day — a couple of new radiators, say — they're added to the same invoice.
How long does it take?
A straight swap — same location, same boiler type — is usually one day. A system-to-combi conversion or a relocation is normally one to two days. You'll be without heating and hot water for most of the working day, so we try to have the hot water back on before we leave.
Boiler brands we install
We fit Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and Ideal as standard, with other brands on request. Manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years are available depending on the model and package. Whatever you choose, the boiler must be serviced annually to keep the warranty valid; our service costs £89 fixed.
Is there any grant help for a new gas boiler in Scotland?
No. The Scottish Government's Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan funds heat pumps, insulation and other clean heating measures, but not gas boilers, and the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme you'll read about on English sites doesn't operate in Scotland at all. We install heat pumps as well as gas boilers, so if you'd like to know whether a grant-funded heat pump is realistic for your home before committing to gas, read our guide to heating grants in Scotland or ask us.
New boilers across Glasgow and Lanarkshire
We install across Glasgow and all of Lanarkshire — Hamilton, Motherwell, East Kilbride, Wishaw, Bellshill, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Blantyre, Larkhall, Lanark, Carluke and everywhere in between. Glasgow tenement flats have their own considerations around flues and water pressure — we've covered them in The Best Boiler for a Glasgow Tenement Flat.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a new combi boiler in Glasgow?
From £2,500 fully installed with Titan Heat. The exact price depends on boiler size, package and your home — the online quote gives you a fixed figure in two minutes.
Do you charge for a survey?
No, and for most homes you don't need one — the online quote is fixed. Where something unusual comes up in your answers we'll arrange a free visit before confirming the price.
Can I get a new boiler installed tomorrow?
Often within a few days, depending on availability. The quote page shows the dates available for your area.
Is a more expensive boiler worth it?
Usually the difference is warranty length and build quality rather than efficiency — all modern condensing boilers are 92–94% efficient. A longer warranty — up to 10 years on our Premium package — on a boiler you'll keep for 12–15 years is generally good value.
What size boiler do I need for a 3-bed house?
Typically 30kW for a combi with one or two bathrooms. The online quote will confirm.
Do you remove the old boiler?
Yes, removal and disposal is included in every package.
